World Mental Health Day is held every year on 10th October and this year’s theme is, “It’s time to prioritise mental health in the workplace.”

With 1 in 6 workers dealing with a mental health problem such as depression or anxiety, paying attention to workplace mental health has never been more important.

Our Training Services team can support employees to stay well, both in the workplace and in their personal lives, through interactive and informative professional training workshops and presentations.

We also offer a range of courses designed to equip people managers with the confidence and skills they need to support their team’s mental health alongside permission to put their own mental wellbeing front and centre.

Bucks Mind is also supporting the mental health wellbeing of our own colleagues this World Mental Health day. Staff were invited to complete a survey on mental health in the workplace and will be having a group discussion about the results on 10th October.

Other Bucks Mind Activity

Our Befriending service will be attending a community event at High Wycombe Mosque to share information on mental health wellbeing.

Our Friends in Need peer support group in Bracknell is holding an art drop-in event in collaboration with BFCN Happiness Hub. Members will be invited to contribute to a gratitude writing board and add their own thoughts and reflections to bunting, which will be displayed at the venue on the day.
