Our Social Prescribers who work with two GP surgeries in Aylesbury (Berrycroft Community Health Centre and Whitehill Surgery) are pleased to be involved in a pilot, working with Buckinghamshire Healthcare Trust, to support the families of children currently on the CAMHS waiting list for ASD assessments.

Our team will work with families; introducing them to community services that may be able to support them whilst they wait for an assessment from CAMHS. We can signpost to organisations that facilitate support groups and enable families to access services run by Buckinghamshire Council. We will also look holistically at families’ overall situation to provide information and advice in areas such as benefits and housing.
