Our Older Adults’ Service (OAS) has been running activities for service users via Zoom since the beginning of November.
Many service users faced barriers to online activities, such as lack of equipment or knowledge, to be able to access Zoom. The OAS staff have worked alongside carers to help support them to get online and access the activities. We have received positive feedback about the activities we have been running, which has included themed discussions, quizzes and the wordwheel.
Our most recent activity was paper snowflake making (pictured above) and a discussion on winter weather facts and the ‘Big Freeze’ of 1963.
