Thank you so much to Barbara Jakes and Richard Berger (pictured) who have donated a lovely bench to Bucks Mind’s Chesham premises, Sun House, in memory of their late father, Dick Berger, who attended our Park Club.

In memory benches can anchor one to memories of special times spent with a loved one during their lives. Benches can help someone remember the good and joyous times and some find comfort simply sitting on one and reflecting. They can offer security, rest and even a sense of peace or a safe space to process.

Bucks Mind feels very honoured and lucky, having been chosen to have such a memory bench at Sun House. The people we support, staff and volunteers will be able to use this as a place to contemplate.
