We’ve been holding events to celebrate our milestone anniversary with the people we support and our volunteers. Check out the lovely photos (below) from these events.

On 11 September our colleagues will be celebrating with party at our Sun House premises in Chesham.

The celebrations culminate on 24 September, when we’re hosting an event for our partners, supporters, funders and senior colleagues in the NHS and voluntary sector at Old Town Hall, Wycombe Swan. Local dignitaries, including The Lord Lieutenant and the High Sheriff of Buckinghamshire will be in attendance.

Key speakers will be Dr Sarah Hughes, Chief Executive of national Mind, and Grant Macdonald, Chief Executive of Oxford Health NHS Foundation Trust.

Attendees will also hear from people with lived experience of mental ill-health and volunteers in a series of three films that will premier at the event. Look out for photos in the next edition.

Below: People supported by our Mind the Gap, Fiends in Need Bucks and Wellbeing groups celebrated at events in July. Everyone really enjoyed the party games, including hook a duck, treasure hunt map and guess the number of table tennis balls in the tub. Fabulous food was prepared for the different events, including a buffet, roast dinner and fish & chips.
