A group of local artists and artisans has raised nearly £1000 for Buckinghamshire Mind through an art event run across several venues in Amersham.
Amersham Art Unlocked was held over nine days, from 26th September to 4th October, and provided local people with an opportunity to enjoy some fabulous exhibitions and demonstrations in a range of Covid-19 Secure venues. Entry was free and vital funds were raised for Bucks Mind through the artists donating a percentage of the sales of their artwork and also through visitor donations for refreshments.
The Amersham Art Unlocked art trail was enjoyed by many visitors and helped plug the gap left by the absence of Bucks Arts Week, which had to be cancelled due to the pandemic.
The funds will be used to support Bucks Mind’s wide range of mental health services.
