Buckinghamshire Mind’s Counselling for Adults Service has recently been awarded grant funding by the COVID-19 Extraordinary Ministry of Justice Funding for Domestic and Sexual Violence and Abuse Support Services.
“We are extremely grateful for this funding, which has been instrumental in ensuring we were able to rapidly adapt our services during the pandemic, reaching the most vulnerable in our community at a time when they most need our mental health support services,” says Bev Taylor, Talking Therapies Manager. “Moving from face-to-face support to remote online and telephone support has been vital to ensure continuity of our Counselling for Adults Service.”
The Counselling for Adults Service provides high quality counselling to adults with a variety of mental health needs. We can work with people who are experiencing anxiety, depression, loss, relationship issues, difficulties with anger, recovery from traumatic events or are struggling to cope with the pressures of life.
“Thank you so much for helping me turn things around. I’ve had a really positive experience here and will definitely recommend it to others.”
