The Walled Garden provides safe and compassionate ‘garden-based’ opportunities for adults with mental health issues or disabilities to work, learn and engage with the community, situated within a peaceful and very beautiful environment.
We offer outdoor working and educational opportunities such as garden maintenance, mower operation and bee keeping, combined with indoor activities within our education centre and large glass houses. The educational element of our work is critical as it provides our ‘gardeners’ with a real sense of achievement and recognition for the effort they put in and delivers lasting impact, often helping to prepare for the next phase of their lives.
