Learn My Way Computer Lessons
Would you like to learn how to use computers? Want to brush up on your computer skills? We run free, bookable sessions enabling you to get online fast. Appointments are bookable on the first Tuesday of each month. On Screen Film nights
On Screen Film nights provide a close to cinema experience. It is run purely by volunteers and screenings are usually on the third Friday of each month at 7.30 pm. Join us for pre-film refreshments and enjoy a great film in our cosy venue. Soft drinks & snacks are available on the night. There is no membership fee – ‘pay as you go’ by booking at the library counter. We aim to provide screenings for a wide range of tastes of new and classic films and feel free to tell us what you want; after all it’s your community!
Knit and Natter
Knit & Natter is now a firm feature and is held on the third Tuesday of the month from 2pm-3.30pm. For those of all levels. Free, just turn up with your own materials or use ours and enjoy a hot drink and a biscuit. See poster below for more details.
International Conversation Coffee Morning
This is a successful monthly event. Anyone who speaks a language other than English can come along and either practice or meet others. Attendance for all ages, some with young children, speaking a range of languages from French to Hindi. Please book at the library.
