We are delighted to announce the appointment of Joel Rose as the new Chief Executive Officer of Buckinghamshire Mind. Joel will officially assume his role on 3rd March 2025.

Joel is an accomplished leader in the third sector, with extensive experience as a chief executive, trustee, and volunteer. He has dedicated his career to championing physical and mental health causes and is passionate about empowering charities to deliver exceptional support to the communities they serve. Joel believes in the transformative impact of charities when they unite people, foster collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and focus on a shared vision.

Sharing his enthusiasm for this new role, Joel said:

I am honoured and excited to be taking on the role of Chief Executive at Buckinghamshire Mind and working with the whole team to build on the incredible work that has already been done. I believe that the organisation’s central mission of creating a mentally healthy society is the most important in the world today, and I am ready to play my part.

Lesley Michaelis, Chair of Trustees, expressed her confidence in Joel’s leadership, stating:

We are delighted to welcome Joel to Buckinghamshire Mind. His wealth of experience, strategic vision, and passion for our mission will lead us into an exciting new chapter and bring us closer to our goal of ensuring that no mind is left behind.

Lesley also extended heartfelt thanks to Andrea McCubbin for her exceptional contributions to Buckinghamshire Mind during her time as Chief Executive and wished her the very best for the future.
