Movember is an awareness month that focusses on men’s health during the month of November. The specific areas of men’s health that the campaign highlights are; mental health, suicide, testicular cancer and prostate cancer.

We all have partners, fathers, brothers, sons and mates that we love. When these men are unwell and unsupported, we all feel it.

Movember is a good time to encourage men that you know to talk about their feelings. There are some excellent resources available to help you practice conversations on a range of topics. Please click the button below.

There’s also guidance on ALEC (Ask, Listen, Encourage Actions, Check-in), the four-step approach to having those important conversations with men that you know. Please click below.

If you or someone you know is struggling with their mental health, please click here for details of the services we offer, including our Safe Haven crisis support service.

If you’re supporting someone who is feeling suicidal, you might feel unsure about what to do. For information and advice, please click here.
