For Dementia Action Week, 17^th-23^rd May, our Older Adults’ Service (OAS) has been holding a 1950s themed week.

The team sent out a 1950s themed reminiscence pack and shared 1950s memorabilia (some of which was kindly lent to us by Chesham Museum) to provoke conversations.

OAS held a Zoom activity for service users and carers about 1950s music, which was a huge success. Service users and their carers talked about some of the favourite artists of the time and shared stories about buying and playing records.
