To celebrate World Mental Health Day this year, our Friends in Need (FiN) peer support groups in Slough and Maidenhead created some beautiful and thought-provoking artwork.

A collage of hands drawn on paper with words written on the fingers, thumbs and palms. For example, 'stress', 'anxiety', 'depression', 'hope', 'acceptance', 'look after yourself' and 'achieve'.

FiN Slough members used this year’s theme ‘Mental health is a universal human right’ to  create hands showing what good mental health looks like for each of them (pictured above).

FiN members in Maidenhead decorated picture frames and placed positive affirmations inside (pictured left).

We’re delighted to share their wonderful artwork and insights.
